BFL Rules

General

- Keepers are optional. Max 4 per team.

- Standard keeper contract 3yrs (Drafted season, +$5 second season, +$10 third final season).

- Rostered players playing or have played cannot be dropped for available Free Agents.

- Eligible keepers must be on rosters and STAY on rosters by the START of week 10 (game time Sunday ends window).

Trades

- Salary cap funds*, FAAB, & waiver positions can be traded until the season trade deadline.

- Keeper cost holds for a max of the contract. regardless of trade unless Trade & Sign or Franchise Tag.

Trade & Sign

+$5 on the current year and renews keeper eligibility for standard terms. (2 seasons + Franchise Tag) Cannot reacquire traded players.

BFL Franchise Tag

+$20 provides a one-year extension to the previous salary, for an additional 4th and final year. One player max per team.

BFL Playoffs

- Eliminated teams' rosters are locked from adding/dropping

- Bench increases by +1 in playoffs. 

- Most points winner is announced and awarded at the season's end.

- Bottom-ranked two teams (points/record) will be subject to replacement or assigned co-ownership. Criteria will focus on overall points and waiver wire activity.
